Dermal Roller

INTRODUCING THE DERMAL ROLLER

The Dermal Roller is a handy tool used for the treatment called skin needling. This procedure which is also known as micro needling or collagen induction therapy, is developed for stimulating new collagen fiber growth within the dermis just below the surface of the skin. Skin needling is suitable and effective for most skin types to improve skin texture and tone, lighten pigmentation, improve lines and wrinkles, and even treat cellulite, scars and hair loss.

Skin needling with the dermal roller is considered to be one of the safest treatments for natural skin care. Used properly the Dermal Roller will not cause any damage to the skin or the epidermis. In addition The Dermal Roller is a lot less expensive than other treatment methods.

The Dermal roller principle

There are 192 fine stainless micro needles on the roller that puncture the epidermis, which blocks the active ingredients from entering into the skin. The minute pores created by the roller will allow the nutrients in active skin products to absorb deep into the skin. The increased absorption of active anti-aging ingredients or other formulations based on the purpose of the treatment (i.e. Cellulite, hair loss, pigmentation) enhances the results of the treatment greatly.

Dermal Roller needle sizes

The Dermal Rollers come in various needle lengths for different skin needling purposes. The 0.5mm is the most common one for home use.

0.5mm is appropriate for all facial treatments: Lines and wrinkles, sun damage, texture and tone.

1.0mm is also available for home use. It can be used on the face for deeper lines and wrinkles. Its also most effective for cellulite, scars and Hair loss treatments.

1.5mm & 2.0mm is for office treatments only. This is a more intense treatment to enhance the benefits of the home program. These can be done every 2 weeks or even monthly.

(Skin needling is not suitable for use on the following skin conditions)

Skin needling therapy is not recommended for those with active infections, chronic skin disorders, poor healing or skin malignancies, active acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis and raised moles or warts.
